ArtSpot on WCHL for June 30

Don't forget the upcoming evening to benefit The ArtsCenter at Southern Season in Chapel Hill's University Mall. The special event from 7 until 9 PM on June 12 offers wine and food tastings, a celebrity chef or two, music, prizes, and a private shopping experience.

Two Radio Shows on June 2

I have two new broadcasts of previously recorded shows slated for Saturday, June 2.

"From the Roots" on WMMT-FM 88.7, Whitesburg, KY, and www.wmmtfm.org airs from 11 AM until 2 PM eastern. Along with a focus on pre-WWII blues, the Lazy Farm Boy will offer his usual serving of the latest in old-time and roots music. Hot platters include releases from the Wandering (featuring Luther Dickinson and Amy Lavere),  Harpeth Rising, Stray Birds, Emily Pinkerton, Rafe & Clelia Stefanini, and Mike + Ruthie. The July 7 "From the Roots" with the Lazy Farm Boy will be the annual western swing show for the first two hours.
