I recorded two hours of the March 3 edition of "From the Roots" on WMMT-FM 88.7 today and will knock out the 3rd hour on Wednesday. This program will be almost entirely new music, mostly from last week at the Folk Alliance International Conference, except for a tribute to the late Joe Thompson, who passed last week at 93. The show streams live from 11 AM until 2 PM Saturday on www.wmmtfm.org
I also posted my review of the Folk Alliance Conference at http://artmenius.com. It has already displaced my article about snake handling as my most popular blog ever.
Blog for radio promoter and host Art Menius, providing DJs with great new music while hosting The Revolution Starts Now on Fridays at Noon Eastern on WHUP-FM 104.7. The show began on WHUP with episode 285. At that time, the playlist blog moved to https://whupfm.org/show/the-revolution-starts-now/

Red State Ramblers in Turkey
From Ron Pen at UK:
The Red State Ramblers old time string band who closed out the "appalachia in the Bluegrass" concert series at UK are returning from Istanbul today following a remarkable musical journey that took them to Kyrgyzstan and culminated in a final sold-out concert at the Bishkek Opera House in collaboration with our friends from Ustatshakirt led by Nurlan Nyshanov. We have experienced a parade of wonders and forged many friendships as a bridge was crafted across 11 hours and 7,000 miles.
