Verlon Thompson on August 24-25 WCHL ArtSpot

On the WCHL-FM 97.9 ArtSpot for August 24 & 25 Art Menius welcomes acclaimed Oklahoma songwriter, guitarist, and singer Verlon Thompson. A long time Guy Clark sideman whose songs have been covered by Del McCoury, Dierks Bentley, and Kenny Rogers, Thompson will preview his upcoming concert at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro on Sunday, August 25th at 7PM. The ArtSpot on WCHL-FM 97.9 airs this weekend at 11:30 AM and 7:30 PM EDT Sat and Sun.
